"UNA cucina" is the restaurant concept created by Gruppo UNA and applied in the directly managed restaurants in the UNA Esperienze, UNAHOTELS and UNAWAY hotels. The 2022 calendar represents our most exclusive invite to discover the flavors of the territory.

Terraces, gardens and dehors | From 21st June to 15th September

Summer is finally here and the desire to spend enjoyable evenings outdoors is back. The best UNA Esperienze, UNAHOTELS and UNAWAY hotels and resorts have large terraces, elegant gardens and private dehors that can fully satisfy your summer meeting moments.

Tempi di Recupero Week

From 5th to 15th February

Gruppo UNA takes part in the Tempi di Recupero Week 2022, the international week that promotes a sustainable vision of the world starting from Eno-gastronomy. For the occasion, the restaurants of two hotels from the UNAHOTELS collection in Milan and Naples - UNAHOTELS Expo Fiera Milano and UNAHOTELS Napoli - offer a special Recovery Menu, in support of the worldwide campaign against food waste and creatively interpreting the three basic themes of re-use - leftovers from the previous day, the animal and vegetable quinto quarto, the dishes of tradition and memory.

The ingredients of “UNA cucina”

Legumes | From 4th to 13th March

Gruppo UNA focuses on the excellence of regional Italian cuisine and launches the gastronomic event The ingredients of “UNA cucina”. The first date is planned from 4 to 13 March and has Legumes as its protagonists. For ten days a selection of "UNA cucina" restaurants of the UNA Esperienze, UNAHOTELS and UNAWAY hotels will invite internal and external guests to an inedited taste journey to discover seasonal ingredients connected to the memory of the past, interpreted in new combinations that unite creativity and the use of the best raw materials.

A Cake for All Tastes

From 17th March

Giving futher breath to the commitment towards the enhancement of craftsmanship at the table, our hotels enrich the breakfast buffet with a special selection of handmade cakes made by their chef, including every day two proposals typical of the area where the hotel is located. From the Hazelnut Cake of the Principi di Piemonte | UNA Esperienze to the Scarpaccia Viareggina proposed by the Versilia Lido | UNA Esperienze, up to the Crostata di Visciole of the UNAWAY Hotel Empire Rome and the inevitable Pastiera Napoletana of UNAHOTELS Napoli, the initiative invites guests to rediscover the most authentic regional flavors and recipes preserved/treasured in the Italian tradition.

La vera Carbonara: la tua!

From 4th to 10th April

It is one of the most iconic dishes of Roman cuisine and one of the most discussed recipes to which the "Carbonara Day" was dedicated.
In our restaurants by "UNA cucina" we have decided to honor "the queen" of Italian pasta for a week, from 4 to 10 April: in these days we offer guests the opportunity to create their own favorite, unique and original Carbonara, personalizing the preparation of their dish.

You can choose to complete the recipe with one of three different pecorino alternatives, such as pecorino romano, pecorino di Pienza or Delizie di Sardegna, and three alternatives between aged bacon, bacon from Amatrice and raw smoked pancetta, thus satisfying the tastes of different palates.

For these days a selection of "UNA cucina" restaurants of the UNA Esperienze, UNAHOTELS and UNAWAY hotels will invite internal and external guests to an inedited taste journey to discover seasonal ingredients connected to the memory of the past, interpreted in new combinations that unite creativity and the use of the best raw materials.

A selection of fine wine labels to be tasted with original dishes created by our chef in two different proposals:
 

  • APERITIF WITH TASTING: two glasses of wine combined with two culinary pairings.
  • MENU WITH TASTING: three glasses of wine to accompany three different courses.

Un Libro a Tavola - Guida al sake

From 26th May to 5th June

Literature and gastronomy meet in the hotel thanks to the collaboration between UNAHOTELS Decò Roma and Trenta Editore. The two partners are launching the initiative Un Libro a Tavola, which offers a programme of special events hosted in the surroundings of our restaurant, the ideal location to be inspired by literary events, thanks to its evocative architectural design and Art Deco interiors.

The final instalment in this series is dedicated to the Guida al Sake. The word “sake” is now known the world over, rather than just by Japan aficionados. But do you really knows what sake is? How it came into being and how it’s made? If you’d like to find out more about this particular drink but don’t know where to start, this book’s for you, covering the drink’s history, its cultural role in Japan and the world, and its production. Author Lorenzo Ferraboschi is fully committed to promoting Japanese food and wine culture in Italy. At this event, hotel guests get to sample two special cocktails: the Adonis Revival, from Ferraboschi’s Guida al Sake, and the brand-new Hanami, an original creation by barman Sinicropi.

The gastronomic event The Ingredients of "UNA cucina" is back and focuses on the excellence of Italian regional cuisine.

The third appointment is planned from September 23 to October 02 and has Mushrooms as its protagonists.

The gastronomic event The Ingredients of "UNA cucina" is back and focuses on the excellence of Italian regional cuisine.

The fourth appointment is scheduled from October 20th to 30th and has chestnuts as its protagonist.

Halloween weekend

From 28th to 31th October

Trick or treat? They may not be as "cozy" as Hotel Transilvania but the UNA Esperienze, UNAHOTELS and UNAWAY hotels will pleasantly surprise you with decorations and surprises.
