The extensive programme at Villa Bertelli

Villa Bertelli is the cultural epicentre of Forte dei Marmi and one of its main venues, together with Forte Lorenese, the seafront and the Vittoria Apuana district.

Here, various exhibitions come to life where culture is the protagonist, such as Mimmo Rotella. Il genio poliedrico, (Mimmo Rotella. The genius polymath), an anthological collection of the artist, which you can attend until 17 September.

Until 27 July, you can admire Intimi trascorsi (Intimate Pasts), the ideal way to get to know the Versilia area in depth. Matteo Ciardini, who grew up in the north-western part of Tuscany, pays homage to this land by narrating its unique views.

Not to be missed is the fourth edition of Parliamone in Villa, the talk show where various personalities from the world of journalism, cinema and show business will take turns over the course of the summer, dealing with the most diverse topics. 

Summer concerts

There will be no shortage of concerts at the beautiful Villa Bertelli. There’s something for everyone, from the big names that have made Italian music history to all the new sensations.

Among the most interesting events is the VENDITTI & DE GREGORI tour, one of the most eagerly awaited Italian concerts after last summer's sold-out tour. The date chosen for Forte dei Marmi is 22 July.

A partnership that is bringing surprises is that between Fiorella Mannoia and jazz musician Danilo Rea, whom you will be able to see live on 6 August. There are also great expectations for Panariello vs Masini - Lo strano incontro, scheduled for 9 August, and for Madame, who will perform on the 20th of the same month.

Summer in Forte dei Marmi

Forte dei Marmi is a lively town, where big summer events alternate with local traditions. For instance, take a stroll around Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, home to many restaurants and shops.

This is where the famous Forte dei Marmi market is held, with more than 200 stalls. The summer, this event doubles and is also organised every Sunday, in addition to the usual Wednesday

Only 1 km away is Piazza Dante, where you can visit the antiques market every second weekend of the month.

The summer ends with the traditional festival of Sant'Ermete. It is celebrated on 28 August, a day when the town comes alive with events and initiatives, above all the traditional Sant'Ermete Fair, which takes place every year from 7 am to midnight in the centre of Forte dei Marmi.
