23 Jul 2023

Milan has a deep connection with sport and all the values it conveys: in anticipation of the 2026 Winter Olympics, where the Lombard capital will be one of the host cities, the city is once again welcoming the world of equestrian sport by hosting the FEI Jumping European Championship 2023

From 30th August to 3rd September 2023, this show jumping spectacle will liven up the Ippodromo Snai San Siro and the whole of Milan.

The Jumping European Championship 2023 has become a true event which combines sport and entertainment, as well as a reference point for the equestrian world in Italy and throughout the European continent.

UNAHOTELS is upholding its leading role in Milan-based sporting events: in fact, it will be the competition's Hospitality Partner. Find out what this partnership is all about and discover the programme of one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year.

There are many new features coming up for this edition, starting with Milano GreenVillage 23. This is a large space surrounded by greenery within the Hippodrome dedicated to culture, entertainment, food and family activities.

You can visit the impressive Botanical Garden with over one million square metres of land and the Leonardo Horse Project, thirteen scale reproductions of horses created by international artists. For the little ones there will be the Battesimo della sella (Baptism of the Saddle), an initiative to give them their first equestrian adventure and familiarise them with horses.

The space will be totally free and accessible from 10.30 am to 10.30 pm, with an eye on the important topic of environmental sustainability. Here you can taste the various Lombard and Italian specialities prepared by the food trucks and, on Wednesday and Saturday evenings, enjoy DJ sets curated by Radio Italia.
