The Jumping European Championship returns to Milan from 30th August to 3rd September
23 Jul 2023
Milan has a deep connection with sport and all the values it conveys: in anticipation of the 2026 Winter Olympics, where the Lombard capital will be one of the host cities, the city is once again welcoming the world of equestrian sport by hosting the FEI Jumping European Championship 2023.
From 30th August to 3rd September 2023, this show jumping spectacle will liven up the Ippodromo Snai San Siro and the whole of Milan.
The Jumping European Championship 2023 has become a true event which combines sport and entertainment, as well as a reference point for the equestrian world in Italy and throughout the European continent.
UNAHOTELS is upholding its leading role in Milan-based sporting events: in fact, it will be the competition's Hospitality Partner. Find out what this partnership is all about and discover the programme of one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year.
The partnership with UNAHOTELS
The partnership will see the UNAHOTELS brand present throughout the race. In addition, the brand will also be present during the various live activities and encounters with fans and sponsoring companies organised by RCS, as well as in the event's advertising communications.
UNAHOTELS Expo Fiera Milano will host all the competing teams for the duration of the FEI Jumping European Championship 2023. This facility, located in the Pero area, is ideal for accommodating the many guests of large-scale events, thanks to its large spaces. Its conference centre, for example, can accommodate up to 2900 people.
In addition, all the Milan hotels in the UNA Esperienze, UNAHOTELS and UNAWAY collections will have accommodation offers at special conditions not only for competition participants, but also for all the fans.
FEI Jumping European Championship 2023: programme and news
The programme of the 2023 Jumping European Championship is packed: on 29th August, the opening ceremony will take place in the centre of Milan. The next day we move to the San Siro Racecourse with the races starting at 1pm. The final is scheduled for Sunday 3rd September in two rounds to be held at 12:30 and 2:40 pm.
You can either buy a season ticket to enjoy all the days of the competition, or individual tickets for the day you find most interesting: see the different options here.
There are many new features coming up for this edition, starting with Milano GreenVillage 23. This is a large space surrounded by greenery within the Hippodrome dedicated to culture, entertainment, food and family activities.
You can visit the impressive Botanical Garden with over one million square metres of land and the Leonardo Horse Project, thirteen scale reproductions of horses created by international artists. For the little ones there will be the Battesimo della sella (Baptism of the Saddle), an initiative to give them their first equestrian adventure and familiarise them with horses.
The space will be totally free and accessible from 10.30 am to 10.30 pm, with an eye on the important topic of environmental sustainability. Here you can taste the various Lombard and Italian specialities prepared by the food trucks and, on Wednesday and Saturday evenings, enjoy DJ sets curated by Radio Italia.
