Not just sea and beautiful beaches. Today, 14th June 2018, Toscana Promozione Turistica presented to the Milan press a rich calendar of events on the Tuscan territory, from the coast to the countryside. These events aims to satisfy every taste of the tourist, thus providing almost two million more arrivals than in 2017, according to estimates from the latest surveys conducted.


A region where, alongside the ‘great classics’ of its tourist offer like the sea and the cities of art, innovative tourism products are emerging such as those linked to large music festivals, outdoor and active tourism or historical re-enactments. But overall, a Tuscany able to attract tourism throughout the region. And this phenomenon is also linked to the growth of tourists who, in this 2018 dedicated to Italian food in the world, increasingly come to Tuscany attracted by local food and wine. Thanks to its varied morphological constitution, hundreds of events have been organized for as many routes that from the coast, will lead to the discovery of the Tuscan territory from unexplored points of view, seizing the opportunity to experience many outdoor activities, from biking to trekking up to climbing, and to get to know new enchanting landscapes. As every year, there will be famous musical and theatrical shows all over the world such as Mercantia in Certaldo, the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, the concert at the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, the Lucca Summer Festival and many others.
