Gruppo UNA

Why is Tuscany just so perfect for weddings? At Gruppo UNA, we think it's because of the way the region combines history and landscape with delightful weather, delicious food and a good choice of Tuscan wedding venues.

We can offer you some of the best wedding venues in Tuscany backed up with a warm welcome and traditional Italian hospitality.

Tuscany: get married in the cradle of the Renaissance.

Tuscany was the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, and this is reflected in the galleries and museums of Florence along with the region's elegantly romantic villas, castles and palaces. These sit in a landscape of idyllic countryside and together make a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photographs. When you book wedding villas in Italy's Tuscany region, you're sure to have not only stunning photographs but delightful memories to treasure.

The Villa le Maschere | UNA Esperienze is a luxurious example of our Tuscan wedding villas. The 16th-century building nestles in the Tuscan hills giving you and your guests the chance to experience both the Italian countryside and the Renaissance treasures of Italy. Relax and prepare for your wedding in the hotel's wellness centre or with a swim in one of its outdoor pools.

If you'd rather celebrate your wedding right in the heart of Renaissance Florence, then we have the Leone Blu Suites | UNA Esperienze, a collection of nine suites created in the 15th-century Ricasoli Palace. Each suite has its own distinctive Fiorentino character where wooden furniture from Brolio Castle and decorated ceilings sit happily among contemporary flourishes. Its location between the centre of Florence and the River Arno couldn't be more perfect for a wedding in Tuscany. As an added romantic influence, the wife of Rinieri Ricasoli was Maddalena Vespucci, and her face is said to be the inspiration for the beautiful Venuses painted by Botticelli.

The main floor of the Ricasoli Palace houses two connecting rooms -- ideal for wedding ceremonies and receptions. They can be booked together or separately and both enjoy spectacular views across the river. The Hall of Mirrors and the Bettino Hall have high ceilings, rich decorations and antique furniture. The Palace's foyer is a welcoming space where you can greet your guests for pre-reception drinks. Why not book a group visit to the Uffizi Gallery for your guests as an elegant extra to your wedding celebrations?

The food and wines of Tuscany: two good reasons to celebrate your Wedding Day in Italy.

The Italians are passionate about their food and wine, and nowhere more so than in Tuscany, the home of Panzanella, Pecorino cheese, wild boar and Chianti wine. Brought skilfully together, these are the perfect ingredients for traditional Tuscan wedding catering. And, if you're wondering about your Tuscan Italian wedding costs, you'll be pleased to hear that there is an excellent choice of suppliers for every budget as well as every taste.

This secluded and exclusive estate features private villa rentals for weddings, each with swimming pools as well as elegant apartments located in country houses. The Fattoria Santo Stefano offers a true taste of Tuscan rural life while being within easy reach of the historic towns of Florence, Siena and Pisa.

The Weather in Tuscany: just few tips.

There is something truly special about a spring wedding in the Tuscan countryside. Spring temperatures are mild, while from April through to June the countryside is a colourful riot of wildflowers. From July to August, colours turn to the gold of sunflowers and wheatfields. Temperatures in the autumn months of September and October are still warm enough for al-fresco meals and celebrations.
