Le Terrazze Rooftop Bar & Restaurant unveils its new identity dedicated to contemporary mixology

Milan, 4 May 2026 - Le Terrazze Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, UNA Hotels Galles Milano's panoramic rooftop venue, begins a new phase in its brand strategy, cementing its identity as one of Milan’s top spots for aperitifs and contemporary mixology.
Strategically located between Corso Buenos Aires and Porta Venezia on the seventh floor of the elegant UNA Italian Hospitality collection 4-star hotel, the rooftop is a place for both locals and travellers to get together, with menus featuring top-notch cocktails and the very best cuisine and offering unforgettable views over Milan's skyline that stretch from the Duomo and Torre Velasca to the skyscrapers of CityLife and Piazza Gae Aulenti. 

As part of this new phase the hotel has teamed up with mixologist and beverage consultant Alessandro Melis, who curated the drinks list currently served at Le Terrazze Rooftop Bar & Restaurant. The project was developed with the aim of enhancing the rooftop venue's mixology offering with a fresh, appealing proposition rooted in Milan's urban identity. 

The cocktail list curated by Melis is a mix of technical expertise, seasonality and a study of Italian ingredients, featuring signature drinks designed to evoke different moods and sensations: from new takes on the great classics to cocktails inspired by the vibes of Lombardy's capital city. These include Cherries Spritz, a fresh and elegant take on the Spritz, with fruity notes and the flavour of summer; Milano, a moderately alcoholic reinvention that pays homage to the tradition of the city's aperitivo, with undertones of bitters and aromatics; and Colima, a cocktail inspired by the hot and vibrant flavours of Mexico that blends an international character with a sophisticated approach to mixing. Great attention was also dedicated to the growing trend of mindful drinking, with a selection of mocktails and low-alcohol options capable of offering the same aromatic complexity and care in preparation as traditional cocktails. Furthermore, the project emphasizes a responsible approach to mixology through the creative use of raw materials and techniques aimed at reducing waste, such as repurposing ingredients and garnishes within the preparations.

This latest brand strategy development takes Le Terrazze Rooftop Bar & Restaurant to new highs as an innovative rooftop venue in Milan serving up signature mixology, complementing UNA Hotels Galles Milano's hospitality with a distinctive and contemporary drinks menu that non-hotel guests are also at liberty to enjoy.
