UNA Esperienze, UNAHOTELS and UNAWAY hotels and resorts by the sea reopen

The Summer 2022 season kicks off with the reopening of UNA Esperienze, UNAHOTELS and UNAWAY hotels and resorts in Italy's main beach destinations, from elegant Versilia to the coast of the Marche region and the magical settings of Sicily and Sardinia. Italy's largest hotel chain welcomes guests on their next holidays with lots of new surprises and personalised services, not to mention the customary focus on the highest standards of safety. Here's what's on offer for this year's beach holiday: time spent enjoying enchanting surroundings, Italian style and the best of local cuisine.

In a unique location on one of Italy's most exclusive stretches of coastline, Versilia Lido | UNA Esperienze reopened on 15 March with lots of new surprises and an even more personalised service for its guests.

This summer guests can enjoy Happy Hour on terrace, with aperitifs served on the terrace of their own room: privacy without an extra room service charge, for special moments when you just want to relax. Besides personalised services, sustainable mobility is another fixture, with the introduction of e-bikes, together with its updated fleet of regular bikes and the e-scooters the hotel already offers. The surprises continue in June with the launch of a special new experience by the pool, where fun, the art of cooking and the best local produce will take the spotlight.



Still in Versilia, in May l’UNAWAY Hotel Forte Dei Marmi reopens, perfect for anyone travelling for pleasure or with their family, but also for people looking some relaxation on holiday or on a business trip. Its many highlights include the tennis courts and semi-Olympic pool with bar, as well as its Tesla Supercharger stations and large free car park. The perfect setting for a smart stay in one of Italy's most beautiful regions.

Summer in Italy continues in Sicily among some of the most wonderful panoramas in the whole Mediterranean: in April three of Gruppo UNA's best-loved hotels and resorts open their doors once more. UNAHOTELS Capotaormina is ready to welcome guests again for the season in its newly refurbished surroundings, just a stone's throw from old Taormina that entrances visitors with its colourful, timeless charm. Here you can enjoy a totally relaxing experience pampering yourself with the many services the hotel offers, including an infinity pool, wellness centre, and private beach facing Isola Bella. To make the most of all the unique experiences eastern Sicily provides, guests should try the wonderful cuisine in the hotel's restaurants, especially Le Grand Bleu by “UNA cucina”. With a panoramic view across the bay of the Naxos Gardens and Mount Etna, the restaurant is the ideal setting for sampling Sicily's irresistible traditional cuisine.



From 1 April guests can start enjoying their holiday in the heart of nature in nearby UNAHOTELS Naxos Beach Sicilia, a genuine haven of peace and quiet at the foot of Mount Etna with everything special that it has to offer families. The dedicated professional entertainment staff entertain the hotel's younger guests with a range of exciting activities, making kids' holidays an unforgettable experience. For adults, besides the thrill of a resort set in a 13-hectare citrus grove, the hotel offers a whole host of culinary options to tickle everyone's taste buds, all featuring traditional Sicilian flavours: Ristorante Stella Di Mare, an exclusive location looking out over the sea; Ristorante La Casa del Massaro, a romantic location surrounded by nature; the elegant and welcoming Ristorante Oasys; the Pizzeria La Zagara, serving all kinds of pizza, from classic to gourmet, in a unique setting, and last but not least, the Ristorante Cucciolo for its younger guests.
 

Giving guests the chance to experience Sicily's enchanting islands, on 29 April L’Ariana Isole Eolie | UNA Esperienze, will be reopening the doors of its historic 1900s villa perched on a clifftop looking out over the turquoise sea in the picturesque village of Rinella on the island of Salina. Its fifteen carefully curated rooms promise an intimate and relaxing stay, with a terrace and a panoramic view over the Aeolian islands.



Moving on to Italy's other large summer holiday island, on 14 May UNAHOTELS Club Hotel Ancora Stintino opens its doors to the public again, with new surprises for 2022 including the new Tartabella suite, for families with children. The room is named after the sea turtle and recreates a typical sea bed setting, recalling the famous Loggerhead Sea Turtle (Caretta Caretta) that lives near Stintino.



For family holidays, from 14 April UNAWAY Imperial Beach Hotel Fano reopens on the coast of the Marche region. From its viewpoint looking out across the sea, the hotel offers a wide range of services for parents and children: the private beach can be reached right from the hotel, but, for those who prefer, there's also the peace and quiet of its relaxing swimming pool set in a 4,000 square metre park.  This is all topped off by the wonderful restaurant serving traditional dishes from the Marche region and the best of Italy's wholesome cuisine, allowing guests to discover the local area on their stay.



And finally, for those who prefer holidays in the countryside to the beach, on 11 April Relais Villa Grazianella | UNA Esperienze will reopen, set amongst Siena's enchanting hills. The hotel will be welcoming guests to its 11 totally refurbished rooms and suites featuring natural materials like prized Travertine marble, complemented by the best cuisine from the areas where Gruppo UNA hotels and resorts are located. With a range of proposals to meet all requirements, Gruppo UNA's summer season sets off apace with lots of new surprises on holidays where genuine Italian hospitality is the order of the day and guests are guaranteed a unique, distinctive and safe time
