Via De Cristoforis 6

Via De Cristoforis 6

Next opening

The aim of this project is to complete a renovation of great value that will turn the former The Big residence at Via de Cristoforis 6 into the new flagship hotel of Gruppo UNA and become the next reference for hospitality in the entire area of Porta Nuova. The project includes more than 170 rooms, a restaurant, a bistro, cocktail and lounge bars, a terrace for events, a garden, fitness facilities, a spa and a convention center with multipurpose rooms.

Tradition meets lifestyle

The “Via de Cristoforis 6” project is conceived as a new destination for Milan and aims to accommodate the best of Milanese traditions through a new concept of hospitality. The accommodation will have an international, business and leisure character, with a strong Milanese DNA that brings the city’s excellence in fashion, design, culture and food and wine to the fore. This new concept of hospitality is based on the following themes: It has its roots in the modern Milanese tradition and grows through contemporary hybridisations.

A new jewel for the Porta Nuova-Garibaldi area

In line with the urban surrounding, which is lively and in full swing, this project is one of the last missing pieces in the complete rebirth of the Porta Nuova-Garibaldi area of Milan. The tower entrance of the building is on Via de Cristoforis, on the corner, and stretches down to Via Rosales, which leads directly from Monte Grappa to Porta Nuova. In the same street, tram number 10 immediately connects the building to the city. A few steps away, the railway and metropolitan hub of Porta Garibaldi makes the building extremely accessible.

Design and sustainability

Studio Asti Architetti has modernised the original design of the facades and has brought back the original sense of verticality through the use of heterogeneous materials. The new facades significantly improve the building's energy performance, with the same great attention to sustainability and energy savings that characterises all of Gruppo UNA's real estate projects employed here.

Fashion and Design

The rooms have been designed according to a new concept by the Milanese studio of Tiziano Vudafieri and Claudio Saverino, as have the rest of the interior spaces and the external landscape.
